My Work
I learned the art of henna during a summer trip to Tanzania in 2002. I explored
the art form with an expert, who taught me the intricacies of creating designs.
After learning how to apply henna, I began working at cultural festivities and weddings. I now also work at parties and special events. Through my
work, I try and create unique designs that reflect the energy of the
person who I am working with. The designs I create mainly are either traditional
Indian or Arabic. Some of my work is displayed in a photo
